In the serene end of the beginning thou came,

To the wild darkness, thou raid,

Bringing epiphany of Providence to the lame,

And the alert to my desire for gaudier fame.

How was the reimbursement paid?

For the relic it had laid

And Phantasmagoria never to trace,

On the fringe of which faintly standing a maid.

Glimmering with light, her gem-like face,

Like emerald hovering in its grace,

With the celestial ode to embrace.

“Go back to thou end”, it said,

“And never indulge thyself in the enrichment of lace.”

从宁静的开端中来，

你向充满激情的黑暗中去，

给蔽者以启迪，

给我以对浮名之欲的警醒。

何以报偿？

那被遗弃的，

和无踪的影迹，

在它的边缘，

一个少女隐约静立，

粉面如玉，熠熠生光

For me, this is a giant tree,

though it is already a fallen tree.

He is the pillar of my family,

a giant to me.

My family and I depended on him.

He gave me love and company.

But he died when I grew into a tree from a sapling.

This giant tree collapsed in reality.

It still stands erect in my innermost being.

对我来说，这是一颗参天大树

虽然它是一颗已倒的树

他是我们家的顶梁柱

也是我眼中的伟人

我和我的家人曾依靠着他

他给了我爱和陪伴

但他却在我从树苗长成树时逝去

大树在现实中已倒塌

Rainy nights, sleepless

I am looking up from the pitch black bed

I thought I saw you

Hunched back(bend waist), prayer wheel

Tears ran down my ears

Ah,it turned out that missing has crawled into my eyes,

Quiet and Turbulent

雨夜 无眠

When the night fell

I went into darkness

Alone

Now

My heart is the loneliest island in Asia

The moistest rainforest in America

Most vigorous weed in Africa

Most splendid stone in Oceania

And the softest ice in Arctic

At this moment

I see

Sea

Is part of the sky

Sparkles its blue blue eyes

Wind

Blows up the rolling of life

Floats the goldenness of thou

Wings of wild goose

Connect the yearning

Of a ripple of mountains

Rain

Breaks my brain

Brings my feelings to far far away

There

My soul is prolonged

Like the night flows

April silent stands,

Summer’s deception, at hand.

It throws me shirts, drenched in sweat,

Seat cushions, a burning threat,

Buzz of mosquitoes, a constant hum,

Melancholic appetite, doomed.

It heaps on me a stack of finals,

Homework rushed, trials and trials,

Exams impending, a looming doom,

Useless silence from insomnia’s room.

Summer stirs a thousand poets’ might,

To praise its hunger, its radiant light,

Deceiving me, in a season’s trance,

This day seems like an endless dance.

四月只字不提

夏天伺机开始行骗

它扔给我汗水濡湿的衬衫

烫到手掌的坐垫

嗡嗡然的蚊音

徒然下降的忧郁食欲

它塞给我堆叠的结课论文

匆忙补写的作业

将到来的考试

百无一用的失眠哑巴

When I first saw you

when I looked at you

but fell into the sea

you frowned with a faint melancholy cloud

That day

the weather was sunny

the breeze was funny

vitality and despair were bright together

in early spring

Later

I found the gentle breeze flowing between your temples

you sing alone

in the world of pilgrimage black and white

maybe in your eyes

I am a metaphor

all things are the essence

Until the future

perhaps I will discover more of your unspoken past and secrets

but my dear

you don't remember the journey from another world now

and I

from the moment first met you

forgot to tell you

I am

a flower living in the wind

a worm fighting and displaying itself in front of your window

a bird yearning for spring

resting on the poetry of my youth

I speak their language while also expressing my longing for you

I am your world

how could I not love you

the fate of dying may touch you

with distance from sadness to tears

with my eyes when I first met you

当我初见你

当我望向你

却坠入海底

你眉间微蹙的愁云

那天天朗气清 惠风和畅

生机和灰败在初春一同明亮

我悄悄发现你鬓间流动的轻风

你在朝圣黑白的世界里独自歌唱

也许在你的目光

我是喻体 万物却是本体

直到将来

也许我会发现你更多的往事与秘密

但是亲爱的

你，如今不记得

从另一个世界到来的跋涉

而我

从初见时就忘了告诉你

我是宿在风里的花

在你窗前打架吸引注意的虫

渴望春天的鸟

寄托在年少的诗意

我说它们的语言

同时也说出我对你的思念

我是属于你的世界

又怎么会不爱你呢

终有一死的命运或可打动你吗

用悲戚到落泪的距离

用一双初遇你时我的眼睛

I closed my eyes,

Believe you would never die.

From afar comes the good news of victory,

I can imagine your moment of glory.

But I have stood in front of door all night,

Your figure is nowhere in sight.

Since you said and waved goodbye,

Sixteen years have passed by.

You promised me a happy afterwar marriage,

Hoped I could wait in this village.

You continuing your fighting,

And I always waiting.

我闭上双眼，

不愿接受你的死亡。

远处传来战胜的好消息，

我可以想象你身披荣耀的样子。

可我已在门前站了一宿，

不见你归来的身影。

从你与我告别之日起，

到如今已经整整十六年了。

你曾许诺战后给我幸福的婚姻，

并希望我能够在此处等你。

我知道你还在战斗，

而我的爱慕也未停。

I offer you the cool breeze, the faint fragrance, the dusky streetlights,

I offer you the shadow of figure in the dim twilight,

I offer you the deliberate ignorance of your footsteps,

and the suppressed smile with all my might.

I offer you the hesitation whether the fire gets alight,

I offer you the bitterness of seeing you disappear into the dark night,

I offer you a sigh of the lonely moon,

With a handful of hyacinth white.

I offer you a consciously dialogue at midnight,

Airing darkness in the starlight,

I can offer you my loneliness, weakness and awkwardness without affectation,

And the flap when you end with a “goodnight”.

我给你清风暗香，黄昏街灯

我给你暮光隐约下的身影

我给你脚步声声时的若无其事

以及竭尽全力克制的微笑

我给你火光摇曳不定时的犹疑不决

发觉你身影隐入黑夜的悲哀

一轮孤月的叹息

以及一捧白色风信子

我给你夜半时分刻意抛出的对话

晾晒星光下的漆黑一片

我给你不加掩饰矫揉的孤寂、脆弱与不安

以及因结束时的那句“晚安”而触动的心跳

Mayday is moderate,
Which deserves a date.
Much more this weekend, hopefully,

Reciting,
promoted my mind to see her.
Haven’t imagined,
Three thousand years
Might be covered in one week.
Bougainvilleas' competing,
Cicadas' singing,
Ultimately hugging.

柔和似水
值得相会
